The Thursday afternoon before Christmas, Riley ended up with a fever and had to stay home on Friday....although she was feeling better, those are the daycare rules :( I was able to stay home in the morning, and thankfully Grandma was able to come in the afternoon. By the time Adam and I got home, we invited Grandma to stay for dinner. We invited Grandpa and Laura to come too, as they were both done with work about the same time and didn't have plans that night. We ordered pizza, showed off our Christmas tree and decorations, sang songs, played games and had a really great time. We all decided that sometimes those impromptu gatherings can be the most fun!
