The Stanley Cup Comes to Visit

In July, Eden Prairie (my hometown) native Nick Leddy and current member of the recent Stanley Cup Champion Chicago Blackhawks, of which we (meaning particularly Adam...and he is working really hard to influence the kids too) are big fans of...brought the Stanley Cup home to Eden Prairie. (That was a horrible run-on sentence, sorry.) Adam took the day off work and stood in line for hours with Conor, in their Blackhawks gear, to see the cup, hear Leddy speak, and get some photos. Because of the huge turnout, and other commitments in his schedule, they couldn't get any autographs or even pictures with him....they could only slowly walk by and get photos of the cup and Leddy in the background. Still, an experience not every 5 year old (or 32 year old) gets every day!
