One Month Old

A victim of her brother's love of stickers...mom and dad just turned away for a moment and Conor had tattooed Riley with several stickers while she was sleeping.

We broke out the playmat and I think Conor was more excited to see it than Riley!

Practicing some tummy time.

Close up of our pretty girl.

Trip to the Childrens Museum

After a couple rainy days spent in pajamas recovering from the graduation festivities, we decided to take advantage of our time at home together by making a trip to the Children's Museum in Rockford. Here are some pictures from our day.

Astronaut Conor

Fun in the mirror maze

Riley was able to enjoy the day mostly from behind closed eyelids!

Trying out the flight simulator

Seeing how air can push balls through a maze of tubing...one of Conor's favorite attractions

Enjoying the play area outside when the rain took a break and the sun decided to peek through the clouds

Brother and Sister

There is nothing so sweet as the tender moments between a proud big brother and his brand new baby sister. Conor has not shown any jealousy or animosity towards her, and continues to be proud, protective, affectionate, and helpful!! We couldn't ask for anything better.

Congratulations Daddy!!

On Saturday, May 8, we celebrated a moment we have been anticipating for 5 years when Adam graduated from Northern Illinois University. My parents, my sister Laura, and Adam's Aunt Toni and Uncle Dale were all here to see Adam achieve this great accomplishment. In addition, he was honored by his Political Science Department as having the highest GPA among those with his major: 4.0. Guess all those late and sleepless nights paid off...now time to find a job! We are so proud of you Daddy!!!!!

Waiting patiently for Daddy to cross the stage.
Conor was so excited and proud of his Daddy!

The Graduate

Proud Huskie supporter.

Patiently waiting for Daddy to receive his special departmental award for having the highest GPA. Still smiling despite missing a nap...and happy to watch over his little sister.

Family photo (actually the first photo we have of the four of us--bad mom for taking so long.)

Glimpse into the future...

Some proud supporters
With the ceremonies over, it's time for cake and a big party!!!!
