Wisconsin Dells #3: Storybook Gardens

We spent one day at a little place called Storybook Gardens. I remembered it being pretty cool when I was a kid (about 6 years old, I think), but it wasn't so spectacular now. Things have become a little run down and I guess I'm just not a kid anymore. There were some neat animals we were able to get up close and feed. That part was fun. Conor enjoyed the "Three Bears" display. Goldilocks is his favorite bedtime story that Grandpa tells him...AND he recently received a copy of the book in the mail. (Our library does this awesome program for any kid 5 and under who lives in the district. By just signing up, with no other obligations, he gets a book mailed to him every month for FREE!!)
Checking out the kangaroo
Petting the tortoise
Climbing on the Giant from Jack and the Beanstalk
Driving an old car
Feeding the giraffe...probably the best part: the giraffes would just stick their long tongues into your cup of food or lick it right off your hand. Conor really got a kick out of it!
Jack be nimble, Jack be quick, Jack jump over Conor and the candlestick
Standing guard
Riding the slide at the playground in the middle of the gardens
