We are so fortunate to have so many friends from our years living in Illinois, so we made a trip back over New Years weekend to celebrate the season with some of them. One of the families we became close to there has since moved back to NC, and they made the trip up to IL the same weekend so we were able to reunite with them as well. Their two girls are very close in age to Conor and Riley and were very good friends, they have since had another baby who we were able to finally meet.
