We started our trip in Minden, Iowa, reconnecting with Adam's half brother, who is 8 years younger than him. We visited Clint, his pregnant wife Mel, and their 2-year-old son, Carsen. The kids had a blast meeting another cousin and we spent hours playing at the park, and then went out to dinner. We are looking forward to meeting their new baby boy after he is born in August.
After dinner, we drove to Tarkio, Missouri, to spend a few days with Adam's uncle Dale and aunt Toni (his mom's sister). Lucky for us, our time with Clint, Mel and Carsen was not over as they met up with us a few more days while we were still nearby.
