Spring Snow

We had plenty of snow into April and even the first week of May....measurable, shovel-requiring, sledding and snowman-making snow. Some of our relatives in southern MN actually had a snow day the first week of May when school was closed because of snow. That storm missed us, thankfully, but we have plenty of our own up until then, and temperatures were certainly chilly enough that we were never sure what to expect.

There are many cliched phrases out there that essentially say: if you can't change it, make the most of it. So we did! We made snowmen, we went sledding, we threw snowballs and ate snow (the white stuff only), and did whatever else we could just to get outside!
