We spent a week in MN over July 4th. It was a long ride, and unlike our usual leave-after-work schedule, we stayed for a Saturday afternoon pool party with some great friends and headed out early Sunday morning. Driving during the daytime hours is a little risky with two kids who easily get bored, but we were prepared with toys, games, music, DVDs and a quick lunch and playtime at a rest stop. We even got lucky enough for naptime too.
I didn't get a great picture of lunch time, but this is kind of a funny action shot. We got lots of smiles and giggles when fellow travelers read Riley's shirt!
