4th of July

We did something different this year for the 4th of July. Because it was on a weekday, we went to a fireworks display on the 3rd, so the kids could stay up late without having to wake up super early the next day. Conor was nervous about the sound of the fireworks just like the last few years so he wore earplugs again. Worked great. It was a super hot night. We went through a couple popsicles and almost all our water before the show even started!

The next day we went to a parade with Laura and Grandma while Dad and Grandpa stayed home and did house projects all day. They were very productive and since it was super sunny and almost 100 degrees, I'm not so sure they didn't get the better end of the deal!
