Trip to Illinois for New Year's Eve...Part 2

On New Year's Day, we went to our old church and sat in our usual seats by our dear group of friends during mass. Then we went out to brunch with a group of them and headed over to Kip and Janice's house to hang out and open more presents (gosh these kids are spoiled). Then, we spent the night with our friends, the Malechuk's--knowing that they are planning to move to North Carolina as soon as their home sells. We are sad that they will be even farther away, so glad they have been a part of our lives.

Conor and Elizabeth developed such a sweet and tender friendship so quickly, and both occasionally talk of how they are going to marry each other one day.
Katherine and Riley (one month apart, both made in Ireland) and Conor and Elizabeth (almost exactly one year apart)
Practicing boxing
The grownups...ringing in the New Year
Breakfast the next morning...milk and Dunkin Donuts
